"Really enjoy my pedicures at Eco Nails! All of the service providers are great and Sam is fantastic at running the place!"
"Leaving my original review for visibility. The owner (I can’t remember her name) called me within 24 hours of me posting my review. She was very apologetic and did what she could to rectify the situation, so I do appreciate that. A lot of businesses would try to brush this off so I’m glad they reached out and acknowledged that this isn’t okay. —— I really hate to be writing this but the result of my manicure was incredibly bad and I didn't realize the extent of the damage until I left the salon. During the manicure, I experienced short bits of pain during my gel removal. I didn't think much of it at the time because I know sometimes the nail tech might just get me in the wrong spot with the nail file. I paid & tipped before finishing the manicure, which made sense since I was getting regular polish and it's easier to pay without wet nails. The nail tech accidentally sprayed me in the face / on my shirt with a bit of isopropyl alcohol, which was quite uncomfortable but I didn't fault her for it. The manicure finished and I thought everything was okay but I didn't really look at my hands until I got to my car. Once I was in there, I saw that I had some small bits of skin taken off near my cuticles & edges on at least 8 fingers. (I circled some of the spots in the attached photos) I have never had a gel removal or manicure do this much damage to the skin surrounding my nails before. It's so bad that even when I wash my hands now (hours later) it burns / stings and continues to do so for 20 minutes or so after I dry them. I'm really disappointed because my mom and sister have gone here for years and love it. I have also been for a pedicure once before and was quite happy with it. I'm not sure if the nail tech was new or just having a bad day but overall today was just not at all a good experience and I honestly regret going."
"I am so sad to write this- hopefully this can help others not go through what I am. I went to eco nails a couple weeks ago for pedicures with my mom and enjoyed the experience a lot! The nail tech cut my left big toe down a ways and it felt tender at the time. She said it was ok, so I trusted her. Now my toe nail is growing back and digging into my toe. It is incredibly painful- it’s effecting my sleep and ability to do things because it’s so painful. Because of the irritation skin calloused and is peeling away, I’m currently treating it with first aid to avoid infection- so far so good. I’ve received countless pedicures before and this has never happened. Sorry for the bad review. Please be careful with trimming nails in the future."
"Went here for a birthday celebration with my mom on Saturday afternoon. We arrived about 5 minutes late to our appointment and were informed we couldn't do the pedicure upgrade that we booked for "due to other appointments" and because we arrived late. Okay, fine. That seemed rather extreme and there was another group that came in for appointments at the same time as us - I suspect that they were just trying to move us through the pedicures quickly so that they wouldn't have customers waiting for us to finish. So, I didn't get to have the service that I booked because of the salon's failure to schedule appointments correctly. It's been less than 48 hours and the polish is already cracking apart and falling off. Which is quite a feat, considering I literally only had the French tip of the manicure painted onto my nails. Additionally, all of the lines on my manicure are uneven and different, some of the tips didn't even cover the line of my nail to begin with, and the actual shape of my nails is totally uneven. The line on my right thumbnail doesn't even curve to match my nail on the right side! Lol. I don't usually get my nails done and this was a special occasion that I wanted to enjoy with my mom. We wanted to get out of there due to how strange the whole thing was, and how crowded the salon seemed to be getting despite us having our own appointments that should have been honored. It's just incredibly disappointing that I asked for something so simple and it turned out this badly."
"Very Disappointing After reading the reviews I tried Eco nails last Saturday. I got a shellac nail color change. I was not impressed with the technician, but it got worse when I saw my nails in daylight. I could see the brush strokes, and my nail polish was uneven. I went back and asked them to fix it. No one apologized, and the same technician came and applied another layer - if I realized I would not have paid or tipped. Maybe other technicians are good, and I got unlucky. But no one seems to observe what is going on and what kind of services customers are receiving."
