"My buddy and I just fished with Seth on a guided trip. I met Seth earlier this year and he told me about how the best time of year to catch big browns in the UP was early November. I was a little skeptical at first, but now can assure you that Seth wasn't exaggerating. We were looking for an adventure and big browns and Seth delivered! In total. we brought four 20" plus fish to the net on our trip! Additionally, one broke off, and we landed several nice brook trout. He knew everything about the river, the fish, the gear, and the technique to get us on fish. He's also a great teacher and coach as we became a trout swat team! "I can't even begin to explain how happy I was to stumble upon Dark Waters fly shop! We were on a 2-week vacation traveling through the U.P. These were unknown waters to me, and I had no idea on where to go and what set up would work best. The guys at the shop were AMAZING! From suggestions on where to fish and what flies to use, to locations to camp with fishing right outside our tent. They even fixed up my fly lines that had weak loops.
