"Hoping the owner sees this and responds. I had a watch crystal replaced there a few months ago on a citizen eco-drive Skyhawk which is (or was) water-resistant. I just found out the hard way that it's not water-resistant anymore. I wore it into our hot tub and it stopped working. It's easy to see that there's water inside the watch now. There's supposed to be a gasket around the crystal and I suspect it was not installed right or possibly not at all. Seem like nice guys and I'm hoping they can make this right. It's not a cheap watch."

"BUYER BEWARE!!. I dropped off 2 of my wife's watches for a battery replacement. They are relatively simple analog watches. They charged $43!! It was my error not asking what the cost was up front but I ASSUME it would have been reasonable around $7-10 each. I complained to the guy behind the counter and he said it depends on the battery type is why the price is so expensive, which is complete BS. The batteries are about $2-3 regardless of size. Scammers! I will never return."

"I needed a new battery in my watch so I went into a Kay Jewelers in Kalamazoo. The person in the store SHOWED me four small screws on the back and said she didn't have a way to remove them and recommended the Jewelry Express in the Crossroads Mall in Kalamazoo, MI. I drove to the mall and gave the man behind the counter my watch and he confirmed they could change the battery in 10 min, upon my return the man asked if someone had been messing with my watch because there was a screw missing on the back! I know all the screws were in the back when I gave him the watch because I'd just been shown the back by the previous jeweler! He charged me $25 for the new battery and $10 for a new screw! I'm not at all happy with the way I've been treated and would caution others to be careful dealing with this place."
