"I love this restaurant so much but if they ever "update" their interior I'll never come back. This place is a freakin vibe, I just want to live in there. Also, points for not having tacky TVs on every wall like so many other restaurants."

"This place is old school in the best way possible. Gracious service, excellent steaks, a wide selection of entrées. The fact that they were packed is a testament to the quality of the experience. Several things that impressed me: 1) When we called to say we will be late for our reservation, there was no hesitation---"We will save your table." 2) The few complaints on Google reviews were handled with a lengthy, personal response, showing professionalism and generosity. None of the typical boilerplate "We will pass this along to our staff. Please stop in and give us another chance." 3) There was a blow-up of a $100,000+ check in the lobby that was given to charity by the Knights. Such generosity is rare. Mixed drinks were a bargain, and desserts were big enough to share two or three ways. One quibble: there is an annoying fee if you use a credit card. But, overall, highly recommended."

"My favorite place in the world. I have never had a bad meal or experience. Atmosphere is my favorite. No music to drown out peoples conversations and servers/bartenders that remember your name and most importantly drink order. I have been going all my life and will continue to."

"Traditional American food. It's a steakhouse of sorts, but it's not overly focused on steak. They offer prime rib, steaks, fillets, London broil, and hamburgers. They offer meatloaf sometimes. They also have other typical upscale restaurant fare such as french onion soup, clam chowder, Caesar salad, crab, fresh fish, shrimp, and a full bar. The food is quite good and the prices are lower than many places offering a similar menu, but the whole place is not overly fancy. The service is good but not elaborate. The food is good but not gourmet. The atmosphere is nice but not elegant. It's a nice step between over the top expensive gourmet or show off steakhouse restaurants and budget conscious family restaurants. I think it's better than many upscale casual dining places at about the same prices. It seems to be busy all of the time so be prepared to wait if you don't come more than half an hour before standard meal times."
