"I've probably ordered from this place over 20 times and I never had a bad dish here. The miso soup is always sooooo good and they're very thoughtful with their packaging so your soup doesn't spill or your sushi gets crushed. One of the best sushi places around this area!!"

"Been here numerous times and was pleased with the fish. The wait staff is very attentive and the sushi chefs are FAST! However, this last time it just did not seem up to par. The fish was not fresh tasting. I hope it's better next time or I will find somewhere else to go."

"Overall, Umi was okay but not the best sushi in Ann Arbor. The rolls were bland and sauced very minimally, but rolls should be able to stand on their own without sauce anyways. The service was quick and food came out promptly. The restaurant itself was quite boring and didn’t have the cozy feel of many sushi restaurants in the area. Parking was easy in the free lot along the side of and behind the building."

"This is a great place to meet up with friends or date night. A bit pricey, but isn't everything nowadays . The Takoyaki aka Octopus balls were amazing. We always wanted to try this dish. The bulgogi Box lunch was a good buy. Don Katsu was my husband's favorite."

"We came here last week and had a great experience! I was a little worried about publicly dining, but it was clean and put my mind to ease. We did not sit close to anyone and they blocked off tables to ensure there was a distance between guests. The sushi was decent and was priced equivalently. Some rolls were fine and others were great! The sashimi was basic and the maki rolls were smaller than usual, but they're $4 so again, priced accordingly! Our server was sweet and helpful. Their drinks were good and presentation was pretty! Good local spot for some quick sushi!"
