"I'm a pretty simple man with my haircuts. All I ask is for it to be cut well at a reasonable price. Duke's (and Matt, the owner) sees this and raises it a notch by providing a unique and friendly atmosphere. I'll give a description of these three areas below but the short of it: your money is well spent getting a cut here. HAIRCUT - I can't speak to this from a barber perspective, but as someone who has had hair for the past 28 years, I really enjoy the style of cut, speed, and accuracy Matt has as a barber. I have never left feeling that the haircut could be better. PRICE - Very affordable, especially considering the barbershop experience. Sure, you could go to a chain shop and probably get a haircut cheaper, but you save a few dollars and will have a different barber each time. I think the cut itself is $17 or $18 but when I was shopping around for barbershops, that is very competitive. ATMOSPHERE - The barbershop is quite unique, with the one stall located in the middle of about 500 square feet. The walls are adorned with the sorts of memorabilia you would expect: old baseball bat, pictures of famous gangstas, old time movie posters....you get the feeling you are taking a step back into a more simple time, in a way. Matt is also great to talk with, especially when it comes to topics of history. You can go somewhere else to get a haircut, but why you CUT yourself short?"
