"First visit to Rustic Pines Pub - just 10 minutes West of Minocqua on Hwy 70. Cute Northwoods decor. New bartender Kim, took great care of us - taking time to introduce herself and welcome us to Rustic Pines Pub. She made an excellent Wisconsin classic - Brandy Old Fashioned. I had the Mushroom Swiss Burger smothered in brown gravy and fries and she tried the evening special - butterfly shrimp dinner and fries. Food was excellent - above average "bar food" for sure. Had to deduct a star for something simple - charging for an extra cocktail sauce seemed a little unnecessary. Nonetheless, Kim made it a fun visit and the food was delicious. Enjoy, we did. Oh, FYI - they only take cash, no credit cards or checks but they do have an ATM on site."
