"Ice cold Guinness and a delicious Reuben at T Murtaughs Downtown Minocqua WI"
"Food and drinks were good. We had 9 people and they were very accommodating and friendly. We played the shuffle board a few rounds and had fun. I went to the jukebox they had on the wall to play some music, queued up $10 worth of songs only for the bartender and waitress to skip most of the songs half way through. I was pissed. If the bar wants to limit the music on that box, they can in the box but to skip customers who paid for the music songs while they were there because they didn’t like them? Disgrace. I lost $10 and got nothing for it."
"Pretty solid stop passing through up north. Embodies a proper Irish pub. Food: they’re known for their Ruben sandwiches/wraps. It was pretty good. Huge serving for $16. $3 to swap chips for fries - which are absolute crack. We also got the fried cauliflower for an app - def a recommendation. Now, id stay away from there wraps here. Partner wasn’t a fan - a bit vinegary and bland. Service: it all ended up working out. She wasn’t real focused and making her job a lot harder than it had to be. Nothing terrible though. Atmosphere: Such a cool spot. Plenty of dark hard wood throughout. Big bar. Large booths. Lots of late sunshine pokes in too."
"Great fish fry! I had the all you can eat Cajun battered fish fry, clam chowder, fries, and with a couple Point Octoberfests. Everyone was very friendly at the bar and overall was an awesome stop while visiting friends. Wish I had gotten more tarter sauce, but that’s always an issue when I have a fish fry anywhere."
"A decent spot for a bite to eat in the area but nothing special. The food is average and there's a sports bar feel to the dining experience. We ordered the patty melt, Chicago-style hot dog, and cheese curds. The service from the wait staff was lacking, not rude but they seemed overwhelmed so they didn't greet us at the door (we weren't sure if it was seat yourself which we eventually figured out it was) and would ask us something like "How are the first couple bites?" but not actually stay to hear our response. The decor was outdated and sort of falling apart, but the history behind the original owner and building were interesting to read about."
