"Let me preface by saying I've been a customer of Salon Brea since its inception and have been seeing a particular stylist there for many years. She is kind, professional, honest, and good at what she does. I typically stay out of these matters but such injustice has been done that I cannot remain quiet. Unfortunately, as of recently, this stylist is no longer employed with the business: rumors were spread that the stylist left of her own accord but this stylist was actually fired. Furthermore, allegedly the owner then spread around the shop that this stylist might kill herself and asked other stylists to "check up on her" to gather more information. I'd like to state here that I work in the mental health field for years evaluating mental health conditions including suicidality and associated risk factors. I've known this person for 20 years and this allegation is ridiculous. There is no criteria there to suggest it whatsoever. Instead, this to me is bullying of the utmost degree. It is unprofessional to, instead of owning up to a mistake, try to make others falsely think that someone is going to kill themselves to get the attention off of your initial mistake. It is embarrassing that grown adults do this still. Bullying is not just a childhood phenomenon. I don't care if you're the owner or the janitor - regardless of position, the audacity to treat another human being that way is beyond me. The golden rule 'treat others as you wish to be treated' is a good rule of thumb that we all should live by. The employees who work there right now might be wondering if they are next: if someone will do it to one person, they'll do it to you. I cannot continue to support a business that bullies stylists out of a job. Because we all vote with our dollars, I am now choosing to take my business to a more professional salon."

"Today my Daughter Brooke has her State Ball for Polish Dancing. We went in and had an appointment with Hailey. She did AMAZING!! Very friendly and nice. She made my daughters experience great, Thanks Hailey. If you want someone to do your daughters hair, I highly recommend her!"
