"I was referred to this salon by my friend. She has long hair just like me and she specifically told me to ask for Huda. When making the appointment I was told she wasn’t in this weekend. So looking through their Instagram page I kept seeing Ranas work -so I asked to be booked with Rana. When I came in this afternoon I was told she had to take her daughter home, I completely understood i thought someone would start washing my hair and she would be back. Rana said that Manal was “amazing! Does really good work” so I continued the appointment with Manal. I told her this was my first time here at this salon and wanted a blow dry with curls-but not with a curling iron. She said it simply cannot be done with my hair (I’ve had it done millions of times) to be polite I continued and wanted to see how she would do it. My friend who comes here is charged $35. Manal told me it would be $45 for my hair. I was unsure with how she was gonna do it. But also intrigued to see how this $45 blow dry was going to turn out. I was optimistic and thought I’d be blown away. Unfortunately I was not. The whole time she was playing with her phone, talking with other employees and not giving my hair the proper blow dry. I watched my hair being tossed around side to side with no care in the world. I was patient I thought I was gonna be blown away with the results. When it came to curling the ends no joke it took her 2 minutes to do 5-6 curls and she was done. She asked me if I liked it. And I was being completely honest. No. $45?? For something I could’ve done myself or actually better. I told her I don’t want to cause a scene or anything- I’m truly not that kind of person. I was dissatisfied with it and truly felt it wasn’t fair to be charged $45 for it. Initially when I asked for blow dry with curls she told me the curls wouldn’t hold with a blow dry. Well the curling iron didn’t either. They already fell flat. Being upset I was just gonna pay the $45 charge and leave. The lady at the front spoke with Rana and Manal and decided to charge me the $35 instead. I was pleased not to charge the whole $45. But I unfortunately did not enjoy the experience or love the way my hair turned out. I don’t wish anything bad for this salon just wish they would handle future clients with more care and listened to what the client wanted."
