"Was way over charged. I got a French gel polish manicure, and my neices wanted tips with acrylic and gel polish over with a manicure. They glued full nail over her nails bed, and gel polished. She didn't get a manicure, nor did they use acrylic. She pretty much got what they use to call "party" nails. Was 100 for the 2 of us. They said mine was 45, so her's was 55. For them to glue down a nail and gel polish. She wanted the full experience which she has never had. I could have went and bought her fake nails from Walmart for 12 bucks. So poor girl didn't even get a manicure, no soak, no file, no cuticle work, no acrylic. A few are a little wonky and crooked. They were rushing to take walk ins, jumping between clients with out sanitizing hands. They don't follow their price menu, literally think they pulled random numbers up on check out. When reading other reviews, lots of people are being over charged last min at the desk. Very upset I paid 55 bucks for them to glue on a full nail and gel paint it for her. He was done in 15 mins with her whole set. Just unfortunate for a girl wanting her nails done for her winter formal dance. If they would take their time, instead of getting them in and out for fast money. update 2-14 All of my neices nails popped off yesterday. So they lasted 2 days and I got charged 65. Absolutely ridiculous. I should get a refund."

"Had a pedi and Mani. . Before I went on vacation .In 3 days polish peeled off my nails. $60 and it lasted 4 days. Never again"

"Lux Spa & Nails 1432 E Cloverland Dr Ironwood, MI 49938 I made an appointment weeks in advance for my daughter and her friend to have mani/pedis on her 12th birthday. My daughter waited 1 1/2 hrs while nail techs pulled walk ins off the street and put them first. It was her 12 birthday request to go to the spa for the first time. Finally the girls were put into a chair and told they would be charged at adult rate, as they did not want to purchase the more expensive product. AFTER waiting an hour and a half for a scheduled 2:00 appointment and employees trying to steal from 12 yr olds we left. No where on their web site or in the store does it state 12 yr olds are adults."

"Never again! Did powder polish I loved it...first time 45 dollars, second time 60 dollars...go in today...he wraps my fingers with polish remover and tells me I need to sit there for 20 minutes? That was a first..come to find out he started a pedicure of a lady that walked in after me...I was ok with that..understanding he wanted to manage his time...but then her friend walks in to join her friend for a pedicure...he starts her while I sat there for 25 minutes ! Hell no ! I took my tin foil off and left! Thank goodness for Nails by Amanda ! They removed the polish without an appointment. I now have an appointment scheduled at Nails by Amanda where they speak English and treat you with respect!"

"I have never in my life paid $60 for a fill. Yes, they look good. Well, I guess more, ok? He only went over them once with nail polish and the next day they looked like I have had them done for a week and had a lump on my thumb that I couldn't take so i had to file it down. They guy that did them was nice , but I won't be back. I normally pay $35-40 for a fill and feel $60 is OUTRAGEOUS."
