"Dr Habor J DO, is an excellent family doctor. He takes a holistic approach, not afraid of modern technology, not a pill pusher (not saying any one is) because he goes 100% for getting to the root cause. He always has a plan, applies years of sound experience, and I truely will say the top doctor I have had for the past 30 years."
"Update as of 9/15/23: I have switched PCP's due to this physician's false accusations of me assaulting a family member of mine. To recap, my mother had a severe fall that resulted in life-threatening injuries. With the help of the Auburn Hills police department (along with neighborhood surveillance and GPS tracking,) it was determined that, aside from my mother, no one was inside her house that night. Additionally, it was determined that no one was even in the area that wasn't supposed to be (including me.) This was a fall from the stairs onto a hard concrete floor. Dr. Haber believes otherwise, insisting that a left-handed person (this detail is important) assaulted my mother and almost killed her. During my last visit, which was roughly four months ago, I observed unusual treatment from the front desk staff and was questioned (in a roundabout fashion) about whether I had anything to do with this. To Dr. Haber and the relevant staff: I had nothing to do with this. I live 250 miles north. My mother's care should NOT influence my care (and vice versa.) Accusations such as this are completely unacceptable, especially when they're FALSE. To any other patients reading this review: My family has been coming to Dr. Haber since the early 1990s. I have been a patient of Dr. Haber's for almost 15 years. I've worked in healthcare my entire life, and I'm currently working in rehabilitation, specializing in helping people recover from falls. I'm also RIGHT-HANDED. This is how I, a long-time patient AND healthcare employee, was treated. My previous review mentioning this subject was deleted. Neither I nor my mother received contact from Dr. Haber's office pertaining to this complaint. No apology, no attempt to discuss anything, no attempt to make things right. I'll continue to update this review with new developments as they occur. Edit 11/14/23: No attempts to contact me have been made. Dr. Haber's office has refused to fax my records over to my new provider, despite being faxed a request sheet multiple times. Guy needs to retire."
"I have been a patient of Dr. Haber's for many years and most of my family are patients as well. The best trait that he has is that he LISTENS to his patients! He takes the time to put the pieces together and try to figure out what's going on. He has a very humanistic approach to medicine and takes the needs of his patients into consideration before making decisions. He is a genuinely sweet and kind doc with a wealth of knowledge about all things medical."
"I left my appointment today and realized after all of this time, I’ve never left a review. I have been a patient of Dr. Haber’s for most of my life. I am 31 years old and I think it’s pushing 25 years that I’ve been a patient. Same with my mom, my brother, and a handful of other friends and family members. I have some pretty intense anxiety. Especially as I started getting older and he always makes me feel comfortable, always makes me laugh during my appointments and when it comes down to any type of diagnosis or procedure, he doesn’t sugarcoat anything. He tells you what’s going on with you and your health in a very respectful and HONEST way. He truly cares about me and his other patients that I know personally. For my entirety of getting seen by Dr. Haber, I have recommended people to go to him. The staff are always so nice, always check up on you, and they even have little inside jokes with me when I see them. That makes it so much more comfortable for me. It’s truly a top notch facility with top notch staff. Thank you for always taking care of me regardless of if it’s an annual checkup, an emergency, or a minor surgery. Thank you, Dr. Haber & your amazing team. Sincerely - a life long patient."
"We've been going to Dr Haber for over 10 years now, and have never had anything but good experiences. The office is always prompt and courteous, the nurses friendly and efficient, and Dr Haber is good at striking a balance between friendly persuasion and firm instruction when it comes to health matters. Appointments are sometimes a little hard to get, but the office always works with us to fit us in - a busy office is a sign of a well liked office... I'd heartily recommend Dr Haber and his staff."
