"I have been suffering from a bad bronchitis flare up for a week now, I have attempted to get a prescription for medication multiple times from this office by phone interactions. The first time they called back after I finally got through on Thursday they requested I take a home Covid Test, I did testing Negative. Called back the next morning and reported that result, was told they would get my Antibiotic and Inhaler prescription into the pharmacy. I go to sleep finally after suffering through coughing fits from the overactive mucus production interrupting my sleep for the 3rd night, wake up to notification of prescription being ready, clear sinuses and throat for 2-3 hours, finally make it to the pharmacy and only get the Inhaler because that is the only thing that $@&$ Drs office sent in. Still suffering coughing fits due to congestion and feel like my diaphragm and throat are going to collapse every time I’m surprised by a fit I don’t notice coming."

"So everyone needs to know this, Beacon Practices are dropping Medicaid, that means if u can’t afford insurance u can’t be seen at 50% or more of St. Joseph county, Elkhart contnty, or any other area where Beacon is!!! If Covid didn’t kill enough people already Beacon is just going to be snuff out of the rest the the poor!!! And why, it’s all about money!!! Medicaid is given to special needs kids and family’s, what about the people who have lost half of household income due to a spouse dying from cancer, Covid, stroke, heart attack, or any other things??? Well Beacon doesn’t care!!! If they did the physicians Of Beacon truest care, then all Dr should have called off until that wasn’t done to patients!!! Our Dr’s work on quotas, did anyone else know this? That means they have to see X amount of patients a day and they get in trouble for not reaching this quota!!! We are not humans anymore and it’s like a factory, and now they don’t care if dying kids need seen!!! My son is special needs how do I find him a Dr, esp since that was the only Dr he has seen for almost 17 1/2 years. My son is autistic so tell me how I get him into another Dr when it was already like pulling teeth. But hey, Beacon don’t care!!!"

"I do not visit often but every time I do I have issues with them billing me incorrectly or coding things wrong. I call to try to resolve them and they are of no help whatsoever. My insurance company has been more helpful than them."

"I asked for a simple COVID test a day prior because I'm sick with symptoms. I waited a day I had to call them because no one returned my call. I asked what the Dr wanted me to do,"drink tea with honey" really? Don't get me wrong that's all good but I don't want to walk around with COVID giving it to people. So I asked can't I just get a swab test because on Ireland rd beacon location they have arrows saying COVID testing. The nurse said "we don't do that anymore" I asked why are there signs after five years still up?! I believe they were not there last year or in 2021. She couldn't answer and blew me off. So I don't know if I have COVID or not oh well"

"I received 3 calls back to back from Beacon regarding rescheduling an appointment for Dr. Kinney for my stepson's appointment that I missed in the span of 30 minutes. The receptionist that I was finally connected with was absolutely terrible and rude. When I told her that I was returning the office's call, she stated very rudely, "you requested a call back. What is it that I can do for you?" Now, I'm not sure if this receptionist was drunk, stoned, or just didn't want to be at work but the way she spoke to me from start to finish was absolutely awful. According to the Beacon website, Dr. Kinney had a number of available appointments, when I called back, Dr. Kinney doesn't have any appointments, isn't accepting new patients, and I was recommended to set an appointment with the Nurse Practitioner. After working to find my stepson resources, I finally found Dr. Kinney and was happy and excited to hopefully be a new patient, but after dealing with reception, and receiving the customer service, I have 0 desire even seeking care from Beacon on Ireland Road. When I asked the receptionist if they would be updating the website, she said rudely again, "We don't even have control over that and I don't know." Ma'am, if you don't know, that's fine, but tone of voice and attitude can go a long way when it comes to putting someone's mind at ease that has a potentially sick child. I can't even imagine panicked parents, with sick children trying to seek care through the Ireland Road branch and can't even get basic questions answered from reception. I would give 0 out of 5 stars if possible."
