"Contacted Shani about setting up as new clients. Her and I had a 15 minute phone appt to cover what was needed and to go over the insurance we had. Main reason for wanting to see her was for my gf’s 8 year old daughter. She told me she needed a copy of license and insurance card then could get back to us about details of our insurance and set up an appt. She informed me she received the requested info and that she would get back to me the next day. Three days later I emailed her asking if she had any info for us, that we wanted to get an appt scheduled. Nothing. I then emailed her 5 days later to inquire once again and once again got no response. I feel as though she picks and chooses what cases she wants to take on and then the ones she doesn’t want to deal with, she simply ignores their efforts and has no further contact. Very unprofessional and sad being she is supposed to be there helping people but instead, she leaves them hanging until they give up with no communication at all. I’ve emailed her several times and have allowed her ample time to at least respond in which she has not. We will be seeking yet a different counselor in hopes of finding one that doesn’t bring added stress and inconvenience to her potential clients."
