"I had a core biopsy done today. The radiologist kindly patted my leg throughout the procedure. I have needle anxiety and it was the thing that was most helpful during my procedure as far as helping me through it. Every staff member I encountered was kind and the weather was terrible; they had an excuse to grouchy, but they were smiles and reassurances."
"I have had two visits so far with my 95 year old mom who has concerns about possible cancer. We have seen Dr. Aimee Marie Rolston. SUCH a kind, caring doctor! She listens carefully and patiently. She clearly gives much thought to all the particulars of my mom's situation. And she has a warm and sympathetic presence. Her compassionate nature is abundantly evident. My mom feels so blessed to have "happened upon" her for her care. And we've also seen two of her residency (?) doctors. I'm sorry I don't remember their names, but they too are extraordinarily personable and responsive."
"My wife participated in a clinical trial at uof m but the disease progressed eventually and she was kicked off the trial and was supposed to start a different protocol but dr Seidels team took a very long time to set up a infusion date, then they said it was a a appointment appeared on the portal which looked like she was going to get a infusion of doxil but days later that appointment disappeared when I called to ask why they said it was a clinical trial appointment so we called and tried to set a new appointment and got a date but was told we could go somewhere else to start a trial somewhere else by this time at least three weeks without any treatment her health quickly deteriorated so frustrated we called karmanos to see about a trial there and went there before the doxil appointment,at karmanos her labs were so bad they admitted her and she spent two weeks trying to get healthy enough for treatment was discharged but had to go back where she died there,if my wife had received the doxil in a timely manner could it have helped her live longer?we will never know, the labs chemo nurses and radiology were all great there, but I feel they should have doctors that work exclusively at uofm and don't travel to other hospitals so they can make sure this don't happen again"
"Specifically writing review of Calista Harbaugh. She did everything for me to make me comfortable. All the staff has been extremely helpful to make sure I get the care I need with my anxiety. I had Anxiety visiting the Rogel Center because I’m not comfortable in large buildings. She scheduled my surgery at a smaller Hospital and I had the best experience possible for the circumstances. Thank you!!"
"My sister did her biopsy for a benign tumor in her leg and she felt very comfortable during the procedure. Dr. Janet Bierrmann, the orthopedic surgeon makes you feel good leaving the center and very well informs patients of everything they need to know above and beyond. Recommend this doctor to all"
