Golden Dragon

"Spent over $40 and was ripped off. Fried Wonton($5.20) was empty Fried Wonton wrapper, Egg Foo Young that was taste less, and 3oz of BBQ Pork($7.00). Yep, I was robbed! Just cause I live in Oxford!"

"Hands down best Chinese I’ve had, I’m always comparing other Chinese places to the golden dragon and nothing comes close. The egg rolls are big. The chicken isn’t over breaded and the chicken isn’t gross and not over cooked. The egg drop soup is so good. The fried rice isn’t over cooked. The food is ready quick and always big portions. The price is fair I think for the amount you get. When you dine in they treat you like royalty. The staff is so nice. I’m sad I don’t live in Oxford anymore but I will drive just to get this Chinese. Even my significant other who doesn’t like Chinese food likes the golden dragon food!"

"I'm not from the area just traveling for work. Decided to give this place a try for lunch and it is very good nive employees very friendly and talkative. They didn't seem very busy but hopefully that will change"

"My husband ordered carry out. When it was opened at home, my son said there was a couple hairs in the gravy. My husband called the restaurant and asked if he could bring the order back, because the rest would get cold while we drove there. When we got there, the lady opened the gravy and pulled out a long black hair. Then she pointedly looked at me. (I have brown hair and it was up in a pony tail), I told her I wasn't in the room when the dinner was opened up. She then opened the rice and stuck her finger down in it and told my husband "it's still hot". She then offered to refund our money, but would not remake the food since the rice was still hot. We decided to accept the refund, due to not only having no gravy but no rice since she stuck her finger in it. I am very disappointed in the service tonight. I am upset at the simple fact that there was hair in the gravy and we were offered no apology. (No one bothered to check to see if the other items we had were still hot). In the end, all we wanted was our full order remade. Instead she put the refund through and told us it would take 3-5 business days to go through. We left and ordered carry out from another restaurant but are still feeling the sting of the way we were treated tonight. It was a very unprofessional way to treat a customer, especially since we have ordered from them multiple times in the past with no issues."

"Food was good. Only one lady working while everyone else was in back cooking she really needed help was told what we could order if we wanted to eat quick. I wanted pepper steak but was told would almost be an hour to make. There were only 3 tables w people eating. No reason why did should take so long. Was told a chicken entree would be fastest. It was not. Prices have went way up since it last visit"
