"I have gone to Fenton Family Medicine to see Dr. Steibel all of my life. My wife and I decided that when our daughter was born we would take her to see Dr. Kirby because he works out of the same office. Love the office and staff. My problem is with Dr. Kirby. My daughter has had issues gaining weight since birth and we would ask Dr. Kirby at our visits with him if it was something to be concerned about. Every time we asked he said it was nothing to be worried about due to the fact that even though it wasn’t much she was still gaining. We took her to her 6 month appointment and she had lost a little weight. All of the sudden he was worried and wanted to change her formula and wanted to see her back in a month to see if anything had changed. 2 days after her appointment we took her to the hospital because she was doing even worse. The hospital staff said it was a serious issue that her pediatrician should have cared about a lot sooner. Needless to say, we will be going elsewhere now."

"My family absolutely loves Dr Kirby! Both my kids have been with his practice since they were born. He is amazing with kids and talks to them instead about them. My kids have never been afraid of going to the Dr due to his bedside manor. His office runs smoothly and it is never a long wait."

"My kids have been going to see Dr Kirby for the last 7 years and he is great! He’s always good with the kids, even my 2 year old who can be difficult. The staff at Fenton Family medicine is so nice and professional. They always help to get us in asap when we have an emergency."

"Please do not take your child here. The man that is supposed to be a childrens doctor is not caring whatsoever. I went to my sons scheduled visit only to be told that someone had “called” a week prior to cancel (that was a lie). The receptionist calls Norma in the back to see if we can still be seen. She said that we had been discharged because my husband’s other child had been discharged because of missed appointments (her missed appointments were from 2016 & 2018). We do not take his daughter to her appointments, only her mom takes her. Receptionist said it doesn’t matter they discharged the whole household. Which that doesn’t make any sense because she was under a different address. I said can someone please talk to me about the situation because my son and I are not at fault. She said she could take my number. It has been 2 weeks and no call from the office. As I reflect back when my son was an infant and I called Kirby to get some advice on what to do. He was not caring and was dismissive. He acted as if my concerns were nothing. That hurts as a new mom. But I brushed it off because he is friendly in person during your visit and my step daughter went there as well. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to this man. I’ve talked with people who work in medical offices and they said that was not handled professionally."
