"I saw Dr. Johnson-Morgan on Tuesday. My reg. Dr. was unavailable and I thought no biggy as anyone could help me with what I had going on. It was a "see Spot run" winter virus or strep but it was causing a flare up of my Crohn's as well so I wanted some help. Tested neg on strep, flu and Covid so to this Dr that meant I was just dandy in spite multiple symptoms that I won't enumerate here. "Rest and drink hot fluids" No discussion of an antiviral, which I would dearly have loved to try. After I mentioned the flare up for the 3rd time she went "OH, you have Crohn's?" I know it was hard to understand me as I was wearing a mask and I could hardly talk due to the sore throat full of phlegm but the Crohn's is well documented in my medical history. I needed help and I got none. Now it's Thursday, too late for an antiviral to help, and I'm WAY worse. I should have been more forthright but I closed my business, lost a day of work, drove almost an hour one way to see her. My need should have been obvious. I shouldn't have to beg for help."
