"My son Jiovanni has been attending the kumon center since July 2020. This was the best decision I have ever made. I struggled with Jiovanni in reading and math so bad , to the point I had him repeat kindergarten. I could tell he was trying his best just as I to help him. But the grades and struggles not only didn’t improve but really hurt his confidence. To make it worst the pandemic happened and I would now become his full on teacher. We tried so hard all the last 3 months of school. I felt defeated and that I let my son down. A friend of mine mentioned the kumon center. I did some research and made an appointment. I felt like this was it. If anyone could help me they could. They come highly recommend. He began to go to the center once a week. He would bring home packets to do, a weeks worth. We would do 2 a day. It started with me helping him. They seem to be reparative and made no sense to me. But I noticed Jiovanni was getting them done faster and no longer needed my help. I noticed he had so much confidence when he did them. That he wasn’t questioning himself. This November was just the end of the semester. I received Jiovannis report card and I broke down and cried. The happiest tears I ever cried. Jiovannis English grade went from a 1.3 to a 2.5, his math went from a 2.5 to 3.1. We haven’t been at the kumon center long but long enough for it to impact jio greatly ! I’m so excited to see what is going to happen in the years to come. I can’t thank the center enough. I’m not a teacher , and felt like I let my son down but the kumon center showed me I never let him down he just needed the right tools."
