Reviews
"EDITED review: Unfortunately, during my last visit with DR. Vega I was disappointed. I had been to the ER days before and it was discovered that I have severe spinal stenosis. Upon Dr Vega finding this out he left the room and reentered with the results and a controlled substance agreement. I had not requested nor did I receive any new medication and was left with the agreement not really explained, further, I received absolutely no copy of the agreement. I signed, reluctantly, because I felt that I had no choice and really didn't understand what impact it might have. I believe this " contract" is discrimination at its finest. If I'd had to sign one at any point before the new diagnosis then maybe I would believe differently, however, because of the timing and brief explanation consisting of " you know", I came to realize this agreement was based on my new diagnosis. It is for this reason that I believe I am being discriminated against based on a disability due to chronic illness. Shame on him for his actions. The agreement states that I can't get relief from pain through any means such as ER or dental and can't even use cannabis which is legal and proven to ease pain. I don't plan on ever using strong pain meds anyhow and rarely use cannabis. He has left me feeling like he doesn't care one bit. I plan to find out what can be done as far as a discrimination lawsuit and I don't plan to return. I know they say there's an opioid crisis and if that's true then why are there methadone clinics for heroin addicts yet people in legitimate pain aren't allowed relief.? Scary if I do ever need something like after a surgery even .. Things make no sense. Cater to addicts and leave those in pain to suffer... Yea, let's chalk one up for super intellectual moves. So now I'm looking for a good discrimination attorney"
"He was very understanding of the problem and did his best to resolve the situation."
