"Came in to purchase some fish and plants for my sons aquarium. Waited in the fish area for an employee but no one came by. After a couple minutes my son went and asked an employee for assistance. I heard her say “I’m busy running a dog training class I can’t help you”, then continued to tell him that he also needs to “stay out of the two main isles that he is in the way of training”. Then she said to him he needs to keep his mask over his nose as it was slipping while he was talking and was actively pulling it up. This employee had her mask around he chin! The lady running the checkout was busy with costumers and the only other employee had been sitting in the corner vaping, which we didn’t even know she was an employee since she didn’t have a petco shirt on? After waiting 10 + minutes and no one around to help we grabbed some plants and took pictures of the prices/codes. Without help we passed on the fish and just bought plants. The cashier didn’t seem to have a problem and rang us right up and was very professional. The girl that had been vaping in the corner without a Petco shirt on saw we had plants and came over to yell at us that “next time you have to ask for help” or “wait until someone is available”. Again very unprofessional and I would never have gotten fish out of tanks without and employee but as many of you know the plants are just hanging out in a tank of water open and we weren’t going home without plants and I understand stores are short staffed and to us it looked as if they only had two people in staff. Extremely rude and unprofessional, this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with this store and it’s employees, seems like they are always in the corner office vaping and not interested in helping. Pet smart had great fish so went and picked them up there and staff was VERY NICE!!"

"The ladies were very nice as always. Even on a day that they were really busy because of Christmas coming up. They were happy to take our boys and provide walk in services. They are so good with my boys and do an amazing job."
