"Cage free 5 acres fenced. Selective & safe. Come visit you decide. Great! 5 stars"
"Please never bring your pet to this place, it's a humble request. Owners are not only rude to the humans but very mean to the pets also. Owners not being respectful at all to anyone and they are not the kind of people who like any animals. These people do not care if your animal dies or is living, basically they do not care. Moreover they are not helpful in any manner and are just not ready to cooperate with anyone."
"LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE! Called to try and find out more information on services. The most rude encounter I've ever had on the phone. Would never trust such a rude personality to have a successful business."
"I called the Canine Country Club this morning because I just found out last night that my doggy-sitter would be unavailable for the weekend! I called first thing in the morning and the owner actually answered 30 minutes before they officially opened! I thanked her for answering and she dismissed my appreciation immediately by asking me to get to the point because she was very busy with her morning chores. Understandably, I proceeded to tell her about my situation. She mocked me for trying to find a kennel on the day that I was leaving and admonished me for my poor planning skills. She begrudgingly agreed to interview my dog at 11:30 after she was done with her chores, to see if Sophie met her "GOOD DOG ONLY" criteria. I assured her that Sophie is well-adjusted and very eager to meet and play with dogs, adults, children, even cats! She asked the normal questions about vaccinations, which I assured her my dog was up to date. I asked if I could have my vet fax her the appropriate papers. She said, "I don't have a fax machine, computer, or anything like that. I'm an old country girl, so you have to bring that yourself. It's your ticket in the front gate or she can't stay." Shortly after this, she decided that the phone call was going on too long and said she couldn't talk any longer because she had to feed the animals and she hung up on me!!!! By the abrupt nature of how the call ended, I was confused as to whether or not I was still welcome! Meanwhile, my wife overheard this odd exchange and immediately took our dog to PetsMart on Adams in Rochester. I received a voicemail on my phone at 11:40 from the CCC owner. She started by giving me a lesson on common courtesy when you don't plan to uphold an appointment. She then continued, using a decidedly sarcastic tone, by lamenting about how "sad" she was that she didn't get to meet my "fantastic dog." She then ended the phone call by ~yelling~ the following phrase into the phone as she hung up (and these are her exact words): "BITE ME!" Although I cannot vouch for the care that she takes of the animals. I can say with certainty that she does not treat humans very well. And even though you may be in the animal business... unfortunately, humans are the ones that have the ability to pay for your services."
