"Everyone at MetroEHS is wonderful! We see Kristen and my son has made so many improvements since we’ve started a few months ago. He actually looks forward to coming each week!"
"Going to Metro EHS Rochester Hills has been a game changer in my child’s life. My daughter has been receiving speech therapy and feeding therapy and I’ve seen a difference in her abilities. The staff and her therapists are very friendly, helpful, dedicated, and passionate about what they do and it makes a huge difference in care. My daughter loves going to therapy and tends to not want to leave when she’s there, which shows me she really likes it there and she feels comfortable and confident with her therapist."
"Everyone here is great they always Greet you with a smile and is very friendly. My granddaughter loves her therapist she has speech ,PT OT. She get so excited to see them. She been coming for about a year and has improved so much. I just love all the staff they are all wonderful."
"My son attended this clinic and we left for other aba clinic. I loved how close this was to my home and school .unfortunately that was the only good thing. We started aba with bcba Jess and after few months my son left for Helen Devos feeding program. We canceled his tube placement surgery wanted to do feeding program first..My son made progress and he was eating pureed food that was being prepared for him every day at end of program. my bcba Jessica agreed to come for feeding training so my son would continue eating he was put on 4 meal plan schedule. Unfortunately bcba Jessica called and canceled that she could not come but they will send other bcba Ashley for training. Ashley came and was shown the feeding plan and a training video was sent and she agreed to feeding for 2 weeks before we included tehnican. Team at Helen Devos children intensive feeding program didn't think Ashley is good fit for feeding but I hade no choice and everybody can get trained. After we return feeding started and sure it was a struggle it came to that point they didn't folow protocol how they suppose and it came to the point where they didn't want to feed my son wich made dr at Helen Devoss confused because my son had no other feeding options. I was invited to a parent meeting with bcba and clinic program director Frank P.The director didn't even come he was on cell phones speaker to let me know they will not feed my son that feeding is not aba and that they as company will not feed kids. That showed how much they really care about kids like my son who can't eat otherwise ..I had all hospital paperwork for my son with me at the meeting but Frank didn't even show up and specifically was not interested that this is medical problem with my son..After talking with Dr at Helen Devoss she caled this director and tray to explain that this is how he eats and that he can't be there without eating for 4 hours..After dr spoke to this Frank she gave me a call she said this is not ABA that my son needs and that he will not reach any goals..They are not traditional evidence based center and that they not good fit for my son. For time my kid was there actually he did not make any goals, I was not shown any structure or anything on parent meeting. My son started elimination program at UOFM they were asked to do schedule for bathroom every two hours they could not even do that..in multiple situations that I came to clinic he was pushed in swing while tehnican on computer or sleeping in bean bag while tehnican on computer. Also rooms where shared with kids where the aba should be individual room and work 1:1..So iff you looking for traditional evidence structure aba this is not it. If you look for just daycare great place tehnican are all nice they would carry your child ..Also I asked for ot service nobody ever calles me,we did get speech which was only 30 minutes children rehabilitation bur at Beamont is one hour speacechsession..Frank said this how Owner wants them to do as company good luck to this owner collecting insurance becuse my called me and asked bunch of questions"
"A friend recommended Metro EHS, and Max (Speech therapist) specifically and we are so happy we acted on this recommendation. Our son worked with Max for several months and we were beyond impressed. Max went deeper than speech therapists we have worked with in the past. He brought in social connotations, sarcasm, and how to appropriately enter and leave a conversation. He also gave us packets to take home to practice in between sessions, which was really helpful! It can be difficult to find a speech therapist to help a teen. Our experience with Max and Metro EHS was amazing. Max excelled at working with our son, was professional, caring and excelled at establishing rapport. We had an wonderful experience with Metro EHS and highly recommend their services."
