"Had to come here for a state test. They offer tons of training programs. Such as CDL training, they had the Simi driver's practicing outside. I would consider getting an education here if I lived closer"
"This is the WORST school I have attended ever! I made a mistake when I decided to move to this college. Staff is so rude and unprofessional( ghetto) even though I was very kind and respectful. Financial Aid is a whole different story, there are no actual Financial aid office what a shame, and they tell you to call one of different phone numbers; when you call a sleepy girl answer that she has no clue what Financial Aid is, she asks you to leave your phone number and name and they will call you back and they won't! Now I can't even keep attending classes here. I'm dropping all the classes and going to a better place! DON'T MAKE THE WORST MISTAKES BY CHOOSING THIS COLLEGE!"
"Lost two stars for having the Connor entrance locked! Had to walk all the way around to the parking lot entrance. Not everyone has a car. Why make students feel worse off by putting an extra burden on them? I suspect security wants to make their jobs easier. But without the students tuition none of the faculty, police, security, not even the janitors would have a job there. In fact, wcccd eastern campus would not exist! It's not about you folk's conveniences. It's about the students' conveniences. You people have it twisted!"
"Wayne County Community College continues to provide inadequate service to those attempting to matriculate. I attended classes in 2016. Needed to drop a class. After talking to financial services I was told I could drop the class with no repercussions...then was hit with an almost $600 balance. Numerous attempts to rectify..to not avail. After attempting to obtain my transcripts, beginning on April 6th, I left messages every day until April 22nd. At that time I received a call from an employee. It took another week for a response after my paperwork was submitted. As of May 7th, 2020 I have yet to receive my transcripts. I have paid $127 in application and transcript fees-only to not be able to attend classes due to the incompetence of WCCC employees. Mailing transcripts... supposedly on May 7th... knowing damn near all schools in the US are working remotely. The only school who dosen’t have the capabilities to electronically send transcripts. This school customer service is a joke."
