"Excellent! Wide range of counselors, so if not a perfect fit first try, no big deal to change. All topics and issues. Knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate, and caring from the office staff to Dr. Kathy, who operates the clinic. Been going for a while now, they have saved my life and my sanity. My counselor is not married to a single therapeutic approach, and introduces modalities that are pertinent to where I am in the healing process. I experienced EMDR for the first time here and found it very helpful. I am very glad I came here. It is a great fit for me and I feel I have made progress toward my goals. I have often recommended DCRC to others and expect to continue to do so. Right now, due to COVID19, my sessions have moved to phone, but I have found them no less effective than my in person sessions. I know, from talking with my counselor, that group sessions are also available by request. If even two people are interested in the same topic for group, arrangements can be made."

My therapist has such incredible and extensive knowledge on techniques for dealing with trauma, and she doesn’t stubbornly subscribe to just one psychological perspective. Throughout our sessions, she is able to adapt and move from technique to technique until she finds one that works for me personally. She also stays on top of new research, which is such a refreshing change from other therapists I have tried to work with. I still have a long journey ahead of me in therapy, but I cannot express how grateful I am for the CRC and for my therapist. I honestly don’t know where I’d be if I hadn’t found them.
