"I was referred to them by my family doctor TWICE, the first time was late October. I called them several times and left messages since they never answer the phone. Almost mid February and I'm still waiting... Zzzzzzzzzz..."
"Tim Strauss was excellent at helping me through post divorce and ADHD testing and counseling. I also took the Executive Training with ADHD to gain tools for being successful in my daily work position I highly recommend Tim to anyone needing counseling to navigate through their life."
"Just finished dealing with a Joy Valley Counseling representative that should be utterly shameful to them. Both my wife and I have Tramatic brain injuries that cause us many many issues including memory, concentration, communication issues and SO much more that Joy Valley is aware of. Forgetting our appointment for our son we received a call from them and listening to the lady speak to my wife so rudly I went to take the phone knowing my wife is unable to handle that kind of treatment. Before I could, my wife handed me the phone saying she can't handle it. I simply told the representative that as you know, my wife does have a brain injury, we NEVER received the information packet that we were told we would receive in the mail with our appointment information and packet we needed filled out before coming. So my wife forgot the appointment, I can help reschedule a new one as I'm not going to let anyone continue to be rude to my wife. Joy valleys response? 'Well your being rude to, and her Forgetting the appointment? Well you were there to' So it went from trying to fix and calm the situation to them continueing to be rude. BTW, I was there to, by my wife while she was on the phone helping her answer questions, but does that mean I heard the appointment time while the phone was to my wife's ear? No I never did. Including my brain injury is so bad that I didn't even remember my wife making the appointment with the place that I even told them in court yesterday. I finally said to my wife while on the phone , only being pointed at for all we did wrong, F this im done, my wife agreed I should hang up. I called back and left a message stating that if the wanted to call me back to reset a meeting they are welcome to as long as they are not being rude. 5 minutes later I received a call from them, 'is Kathy there?' I asked to confirm 'Kathy?' Instead of saying, sorry wrong number, they just hung up, they were calling the court contact on our paperwork Kathy. WOW WHAT A RUDE 10 MINUTE INTERACTION!! Be careful of the happy go lucky first contact because our second contact felt like we were enemies for no reason other than we never received our information packet that they said would include our appointment date and time"
