"Dr.Garmel and her team were friendly when we entered our appt. Once they realized we had twins it went down hill. I did not take part in scheduling their office did it and just told me when to come. She was not “prepared to see a twin mom” as she put it and became flustered and frustrated with the situation. Then during the appt she left and came back and was discussing how another patient came late and they should accommodate her because they did not plan for me to have twins having a conversation with the tech (all in front of my husband and I). I offered to leave and reschedule since it was clear they were becoming frustrated and the tech was rushing. They said no and continued to rush and be rude. She was rude and wthrowing weird thoughts out such as it is unlikely I will make it past 26 weeks without having a still born, then kept saying we will talk at the end. But then she left and never talked to us about the “details” of why she said those things and others. Also her tech handed me a CD to take to cvs to print my pictures( I could not see the screen at all during) when I got to cvs there was another woman’s photos on the disc and none of mine. I left there sobbing thankfully my OB is not having me go back. I have a friend that had the same experience as a twin pregnancy with this doctor. I would avoid as best as possible and go to Beaumont MFM."

"I just had my first child at 36 weeks. There was a risk with him and I got transferred to their office in late September due to having an OB before who was never present and didnt seem to know what was going on with my child or I. Dr. Garmel helped make my first labor and delivery a wonder expirence. Due to me still being in labor at shift change Dr. Mosses was the Doctor who finished labor and delivery with me and he was just as great. I said after my L&D that I would definitely be continuing care with them during my next pregnancy! I"

"Dr. Sara Garmel was there 22 years ago today when I gave birth to my first daughter at just 23 weeks along in my pregnancy. I was very young and she never once treated me any differently than any other patient of hers which was a drastic change from the other physicians I had seen until being transfered to the MFM office. I went to her with my subsequent pregnancies and was never disappointed in the quality of care she provided or her kind manner. I'll forever be thankful for her and her kindness."
