Dr. Christine H. Matoian, MD

"I've been seeing Dr. Matoian for about twenty years (spanning three office locations and four kids) and am so glad to have found her. She is the "gold standard" of doctors, and I wish I could find a PCP like her. Once you start seeing her, she'll be your new standard for how all your doctors should be. There's never more than a five minute wait in the waiting room, and the one time I actually did have a bit of a wait in the exam room, she immediately apologized (which wasn't really even necessary given that it had never happened before, and her lateness was due to caring for a very complex patient prior to me--totally understandable). She's very knowledgeable, always relaxed, never rushed and so easy to talk to. Once I stopped having kids, I was disappointed when I realized that I might only get to see her once a year now! I referred my mother to her many years ago, and she is also very happy seeing Dr. Matoian. Her office staff, and the PA (Melissa) are also great. I would enthusiastically recommend her to anyone!"

"I have been going to Dr. Matoian for over 10 years and she is AMAZING!! I am 42 now but when I was 33 she preformed a very serious surgery on me. I was scared but she kept me in the loop of things every single step of the way. She always makes me feel very comfortable and at ease regardless of how awkward the conversation may be. I have also had visits with Dr. Melissa and she too was equally amazing, as well as Shelly at the front desk! Their office/lobby is very clean and inviting and I never have had to wait more than 10 minutes to be seen. I am definitely a forever patient!!!"

"Overall, my experience was not good. I have endometriosis, PCOS, and interstitial cystitis (IC was diagnosed AFTER leaving this place). While I was here, the only treatment option I was offered for my endometriosis was Orilessa, which I did not want to take. They refused to do surgery because “I’m young” even though I’ve already had surgery for endometriosis 7 years ago. After I left, my current doctor did perform surgery and thank god he did because I was stage 4, and without it probably would have lost my ability to have kids. Would not recommend."

"I was not happy with the service today. So I went to there office to find out when my birth control expired. She looks up my file, and she tells me well I guess so you haven't been here since 2012. Then I tell her my birth control last for five years, I have a IUD so I have no reason to be seen by them. So my thing is if your looking at my file she should have seen that yes I have a IUD and yes it last for five years. So l feel like there was no reason for this lady to be talking to me like this. So then I ask her if they had any information that I can take home about birth control, then she starts telling me I'm not a doctor so I can't tell you what birth control to get. Which made no sense to me because I wasn't asking her opinion on what birth control to get. So all I can say is she is Not On My Level and no I will not be going back."

"The first thing you notice going to the doctor's office is that the secretary up front is extremely friendly. I saw Dr. Melissa Rae the first time, and she was easy to talk to and explained everything and was ready to answer any questions. When I came back for more tests, I saw Dr. Christine Matoian. She was also very friendly, went over everything with me, and made sure I understood any procedures and tests. I've been to a few gynos in my lifetime -- and this place is by far the most comfortable -- with the friendliest staff members. I highly recommend these doctors for your women needs."
