And hopefully pediatrics is take off of the list to limit further confusion. Was referred by our primary Beaumont doctor, only to be turned away, and have to start the process of finding a specialist over again."

"My experience was beyond terrible. I left out of here balling in tears and literally felt like my whole world was shattered. I was so excited about being pregnant (I had two ectopics, & one of my tubes removed) so me finding out I was pregnant was literally a blessing to me! I knew I was a high risk pregnancy so I stayed on top of everything. Which included me going to the ER 4 times since my morning sickness started at 6 weeks all the way to about 8 weeks. I had a vaginal ultrasound every time I went. (Beaumont hospital) they were always very kind with me very pleasant and nice. In the past I seen plenty of doctors about my situation & they’ve always sympathized with me. ANYWHO.. I went to the ER Sunday I was feeling really sick. My ultrasound cams back completely normal heart rate was normal everything was fine besides the fact I couldn’t hold anything down. 4 days later I came to Dr Amos office for my first OB doctor visit. 10:00 am was my appointment time, they got me back fast which I was happy about, the nurse doing my ultrasound didn’t greet me she just told me to get on the bed, didn’t acknowledge my fiancé at all. She was just rude and cold from the beginning. I got on top of the table and I was surprised I wasn’t getting the vaginal ultrasound. (Me being a high risk and the baby grew a little slower then others usually would they always did vaginal because they couldn’t see everything with just the stomach one) she applied the gel on my stomach and rubbed my lower stomach for about 5 minutes, not even. (Remind you my appointment was at 10:00) by 10:10, her exact words were “the hospital said you were 8 weeks on Sunday?” I said “yes about 7 weeks 6 days” then she goes.. “well there is no heart rate” very cold with no type of emotion I said “what” it really took me a few seconds to think about what she said. “There is no heart rate” I said “well how I was just at the hospital” so confused and now getting a shake in my voice feeling myself about to cry. She said “well the baby is gone, I’ll get the doctor” almost as if she was getting irritated by me being in disbelief & shock. The doctor came in and instantly started talking to me about a D&C! I was in shock! Appalled! In tears! Livid, I was so confused. The last thing I wanted to Do was talk about a d&c. The way it was delivered to me could have been 100x better. The whole process was just janky and seemed rushed to me."

"Dr. Amos was very attentive and gentle with me, as I came in for my pregnancy check-up. She listened and explained in a professional, caring manner. I hope she is the one to deliver my baby when the time comes!"

"I saw Dr. Amos for an initial consultation at Botsford Hospital ER and saw her for follow-up care at her Redford and Livonia office locations. I felt that she demonstrated excellent patient care and a patient education focus. She spent quality time with me reviewing my test results and going over my planned treatment."
