"I started seeing Dr. Sharma in Summer 2016 when I relocated to metro-Detroit. Her facility looks dated, but kept up. The receptionist/medical assistant was nice. She was always very helpful including when I had issues with my bc refills while living out of state. I didn’t have any issues with the girls that took my blood samples other than I never saw them immediately invert the tubes, which concerned me. I only saw Dr. Sharma for annual exams and one pregnancy test. The visits were straightforward without significant wait times. She was rougher than my previous gyn during the exam, but I appreciated her checking my bloodwork. Last year, Dr. Sharma wrote my bc prescription for 9 mo. instead of 12 which caused me to have to take a pregnancy test to get more bc in early 2020( ie I had to go to the doctor’s office during covid). I was going to let the error go because it happens, but she made the same mistake a few months later when I visited for my annual exam. Luckily, I caught it, but she didn’t fix the prescription! Overall, I’d say she’s average and gets the job done. I am currently looking to switch to a more personable gynecologist moving forward, but I appreciated Dr. Sharma’s standard of care."

"I am owed $30. I do not have a co pay on my insurance, I was told I would be reimbursed and was not. Dr. Sharma did a surgery by lancing a Bartholin cyst and draining, hope it doesn’t come back 13% do when lanced, scar tissue forms and catheter placement if needed for future occurance may become difficult. When I asked her about it she condescendingly replied “ I have been a doctor for 30 years.” Ok. She was very rough everytime, not gentle at all. I came back for a recheck where I asked for a suture removal 2w later, she did not use suture scissors causing me pain snipped tissue and I asked her to stop and not continue the suture removal. She told me then that she usual dosnt remove them. I work in the medical field myself I am Not a doctor yet but I do many suture removals myself. I looked at the scissors she used when she left the room which were thicker than eye brow trimming scissors even. I will not return. And yes they need serious help with organizing the clinic. Also never called me to give my test results back either times and when asked in clinic they would need to “find it”. Front desk lady was nice the other lady is clearly learning. Dr Sharma is old school and set in her way type of woman."
