"Dr. Thielking is thorough, patient, and experienced. He takes a lot of time answering any and all questions without belittlement or making you feel like he doesn't have enough time for you. I switched to him about 6 years back because my last OB was quick to suggest surgery. She recommended a hysterectomy simply because I was having hot flashes. Dr. Thielking, on the other hand, works through things without jumping to conclusions, but at the same time isn't dismissive with your concerns. A friend of mine referred me to him and she credits him for saving her life by recognizing a serious symptom she was having. He caught uterine cancer in it's very early stages and acted quickly with surgery before it progressed. Currently, I have a cyst on my right ovary that we've been watching for a few months. After careful consideration and providing a full explanation of my options, we decided to remove my ovary for safe measure. This was a well-thought through decision, and I'm grateful for the time Dr. T took to explain all my options."
"Rude, dismissive. Will not answer questions. Doesn't care about his patient's needs. Gave a diagnosis without an exam (and then gave exam). Received a second opinion a week later which proved Thielking incorrect."
