"Been seeing Dr Lyons for almost 2 years now, and had major surgery earlier this year. Never fond of going to the doctor, let alone facing a surgery that I knew I'd have to have years ago. I always go to Chicago for any surgery, after a mishap with local doctor for another issue - so yeaah, it was not easy in the beginning to see him. He was highly recommended by 2 friends, and I can see why. He's an excellent and highly skilled surgeon, great with communication and addresses all of your concerns in details. Even my friend who is a doctor in Canada was much impressed too, when I told her about my experience. While the office management can be improved, don't let it be a primary factor of your visit. After a surgery mishap by another local doctor, office management is a non issue, as long as the doctor is very skillful."
"Dr. Lyons is a good dr, very knowledgeable, caring and good listener. However, his front desk staff/phone receptionist are very disorganized and are simply clues. I always struggle to get any messages to his office due to lack of front desk/phone receptionist experience. Every time I call I'm put on hold for a long time and messages are not sent correctly to provider. This is very frustrating and very difficult for my treatment plan."
