"Dirty. First room smelled like a meth lab had exposed electrical and was filthy second one stinks of weed and bedding wasn't changed just flipped inside out. Found pubes in bed. Staff is unhelpful saying that new bedding is locked up after shift change. How do you lock up so the front desk can't help people had to go and buy my own bedding because no. The OUTSIDE walkways reek of wet dog and the place is littered with cig butts and trash. RUN AWAY DO NOT STAY."

"Filthy, very strong smoke smell in the room, door handle not functioning properly, phone not hooked up to anything, lots of dog feces on the property including in the middle of the sidewalk up to the room, lots in need of repair (missing toilet paper holder, missing lampshade, missing dresser drawer), sticky spill on countertop and phone, floor wasn't vacuumed, garbage on the bedspread. Checked in late and left early, otherwise would have looked for somewhere else to stay."

"Upon checkin I was told my room got bumped due to over booking. Yet, lot was only 1/3rd full with cars. I was told it didn't make a difference in the type of room I got. Lot has trash all over, trash cans with piles of trash next to them, a dumpster over flowing with trash...who knows how long since it's been emptied. Room 127 was drafty and cold. Absolutely no amenities like coffee, microwave or fridge as compared to the red roof in Melvindale I stayed at last week. They had all 3 plus breakfast and a much cleaner room and grounds at a better rate. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything through them INCLUDING the mice or squirrels in the walls scratching around! Signs says 36HD channels, um more like 15 HD channels, then 10 more at SD with even more that aren't responsive. Clearly housekeeping is only doing the bare minimum with a dry wipe down, furniture has food or whatever residue that would easily wipe up with proper cleaning compounds. Mold around the tub, plaster falling off the ceiling, holes along foundation allowing moisture to enter. The door, ya I'm pretty sure it's a fire hazard due to the fact the handle is broken and falls off! Yes, front desk was kind enough to tell me upon checking in that you have to move it up and not down in order to open it but neglected to say once inside I would need to be a magical door nymph to get back out. Sheets and bed seem clean, front desk staff was pleasant and nice. Other then that there's nothing positive to say about this red roof. They are operating at well below a 2 star hotel level!!!"

"This was one of the worst stats I've ever had at red roof inn. I am an environmental health and safety engineer for a fortune 500 company. I know business, I managed to speak with the regional manager and he was so professional. The young Mexican women who check me in was great. But we asked to switch rooms due to their being lowed neighbors. Brandi was very rude at the front desk compared to the lady who checked me in. She stated " You're going to take a room that's designated for the elderly" She was also rude to the regional manager on the phone. She should not work retail if she's going to discriminate customers. While I am asmatic and have scoliosis and fell 2 days ago I wanted a room on the lower floor... My room had mold in it so we had to leave which my fiance is deathly allergic. I may be seeking a lawyer stay away!"
