Reviews of Caracas Bistro
"The food is just amazing whether it’s the main meal or the appetizers and the milkshakes are ginormous and delicious. The waiters can speak English or Spanish and they’re also very nice."
"The food was outstanding! I've been struggling to find good Venezuelan food, and this place didn't disappoint me. The service was really kind; I especially appreciate the ladies who assisted us. The atmosphere was great; it's a family-friendly restaurant, which is wonderful. I definitely recommend the Patacon with steak, and my boyfriend loved the Cachapa with shredded beef. I know it could be a little pricey, but considering the portion sizes, it's totally worth it. We saw other people with milkshakes, and they looked stupendous. Unfortunately, we didn't try any, but we'll definitely be coming back for them and other items on the menu. Thanks to the crew!"
"I don’t often get out this way, but had an extended errand in town and was told to check it out. I, personally, was mindblown. It’s one of my top 5 restaurants just off the cuff. We came to try the milkshakes but were too full, and wished we could get them to-go knowing that’s not realistically possible. it was very busy when we went, the hostess had us sign in for a 25+ minute wait. After a party disbanded we were sat and order taken in a good amount of time. All of the food was hot and fresh, our app came 5 mins before our entrees. I personally loved my order. I got a Venezuelan bowl with everything except sauce and it still wasn’t dry. The empenada was a bit too sweet for my taste. My partner got a meat plate. I will say that they seemed like they were short of staff and were handling it gracefully. Switch the salt and pepper shakers. The pepper is hard to get out of the tall container and your food doesn’t require salt. I loved that you had regular hot sauce and El Yucateco. That gives you a weak and soft hit with the sauce but if I were to suggest, switch to either Cholula or Tapatio, and keep the Yucateco but change it to the Chile Habenero. that way you get a little hot and a lot hot without losing taste."
"I joined my friend and her grandson here for their Famous Milkshakes. We were able to split one Halloween themed milkshake between the 3 of us. My friend also shared her Caracas Fries with me. The staff were kind, the establishment was clean, and I'm thankful we had 2 adults and a child to share all of the delicious food. I'll absolutely visit again and be sure to have my friend join and help me with polishing off another order of fries and a milkshake."
"Had been putting off this Mishawaka hidden gem for a while. I continued to see pics of the milkshakes online and just had to partake. It was absolutely amazing (shareable and justifiably pricey). Food was good. Service was great! I enjoyed the Venezuelan bowl. This business needs more customers. Let’s support❤️ i am definitely going back."
