Reviews of Osceola Grand Hotel
"DO NOT stay in this Hotel EVER! No stars deserved. Stayed for a few months last year & most recently stayed 2 nights. Rooms were not clean, my son almost put a pill in his mouth he found on floor. They don't change the skirts on beds, nor covers under pillow case covers. Blood & pee stains all over mattresses. Vents are so dirty theyre claugged. Nothing is moved & vacuumed under. Certain employees allowed to show up to work DRUNK on night shift, are rude, allowing their boyfriend's to hang out in the lounge & do their personal laundry in back. They aren't even properly trained to treat pool with chemicals & have had to have Fire dept. evacuate due to chemical reactions. I let a lot slide last year because I was in a tough situation. I cleaned my own room & washed my own bedding. Most recently I was there with 2 sick children. At 2am a bed bug was crawling across my son's pillow. I addressed with front desk & was casually asked if I wanted to switch rooms. I instead stripped my room for 2 hrs & cleaned, exhausted, scared if I moved rooms the next may be worse. Next morning I calmly & discreetly attempted to speak with this crackhead who was 'cleaning'/running front desk all to be accused of bringing this bed bug in & was told that I needed to leave. I asked for her name, not only did she refuse to provide it but when I told her I wanted to speak to a manager I was told that Alicia & Paris didn't even 'like' me & that she was calling police if I didn't leave. I stood at front desk waiting for management &/or police as she hid in the back, after recording me on her phone (complete privacy violation so I began recording as well) refusing to refund me my $(I paid cash for 3 nights in advance). It wasn't until police & Paris showed up an hour later I was told to pack & leave. This girl tried having me trespassed, & Paris only refunded my $ for 2 nights. My children were frightened & upset. So emotionally & physically sick over all of this I was in tears leaving, completely in disbelief that this was all over this little punk being offended that I mentioned BED BUGS, screaming at me like some psycho. This person should NEVER be allowed to work in a public place after this. I told Paris I won't make a fuss over the first night refund as they weren't going to give it back anyway, but to please speak with 'SAL' the owner regarding this morons behavior. Everything was recorded along with the bed bug crawling around. She should be held responsible to the fullest for her actions & I have released photos of her publically as well. This place should be condemned. There are rooms so moldy they haven't been rented in years. This came out of an employees own mouth. I will be filing a complaint with the health dept & in contact with my lawyer for the emotional & physical distress they caused my family. Hopefully 'SAL' will take responsibility as the 'owner' & clean this place up, starting with his 'employees'."
"Breakfast was very disappointing, like most hotels. But our one night stay was pleasant and uneventful. Room seemed clean."
"Just found out I have been robbed by this hotel. We arrived late in the evening to our reserved room with our newborn baby. We remained in the room for less than 2 hours. Hotel guests were partying, slamming their hotel room doors, and fighting in the hallway. None of us could sleep and our baby cried every time they slammed their doors. I called in multiple noise complaints, to no avail, so I walked to the front desk to inform them we were not staying the night and that we wanted a refund. The front desk was very polite about everything, but nonetheless we drove 3 hours home in dense fog between 2AM - 5AM because the hotel could not accommodate our stay. I received a call from the same manager who helped me reserve a room days prior, and she said we could have a full refund except for $20 since we did use the room briefly. I wanted a full refund but I agreed to pay $20 to bring about an end to the whole issue. I was immediately charged $20, then on the very next day I received a separate and additional charge from the same hotel for $36. I was never contacted by anyone to make sure this was okay with me or to explain why this charge was being added. I contacted the hotel the day of the second charge and was told that a manager would contact me on the following day to explain the charges to me. It has now been 4 days and nobody from the hotel has contacted me. Additionally, I visited the grand Osceola hotel website where it says they are owned and operated by Magnuson Hotels, but when I contacted Magnuson, they informed me that they cancelled all business with the grand Osceola hotel back in May 2023. Not sure who is responsible for this hotel operation at this time but I can attest that they cannot be trusted and once they have your card information you will be at their mercy, or lack there of."
"Very clean and quiet. The pool looked nice though we didn't use it. Breakfast was sufficient.....could use some hot dishes besides waffles."
"Affordable, but beds were extremely uncomfortable. The room was not cleaned very well as we found a mini liquor bottle on the floor beside the bed. The person at the desk's response was "well someone had fun". I think you missed the point there. The back door was unlocked as well, so anyone can just stroll in without a key."
