River Ridge Resort

"This is a seasonal resort. Overnight, week, monthly is extremely limited. When you do receive a spot do not expect to be welcomed. Speed limit is 7mph. We were yelled at for going 9 mph up a hill from the marina , yet the e-bikes seem to be ok at 20 and not stop at stop signs and don’t get me started on the golf carts piloted by the barely teenagers to pickup up parents in the overflow parking lots. 15-20mph seems the norm for anyone that is seasonal. I’ve enjoyed watching the e-bike riders literally cruise around almost laying down around corners. Needing a pass key to enter is non existent. Just open the pull thru spot gates and go as you will."

"We're not regular concrete campers,we have two friends that stay here and we come up hang with them for a weekend. Very nice place to visit. We don't a golf cart. Plenty of good walking."

"First year seasonal campers at River Ridge and could not be more pleased with this Resort. Grounds are very well maintained, staff is very helpful and respectful, store has everything you could need, cleanest bathrooms I have ever used, but THE POOL makes this place 11 out of 10. The view from the pool overlooking the Muskegon River, the pure blue water, the umbrella seating, and game room. Don’t hesitate coming to River Ridge Resort, there is nothing like it in this area!!"

"Gassed up the boat, headed into the store. Everybody I encountered that worked at that place from the young man that pumped my gas they were all very courteous and very excellent mannered people. them are good folks !"

"Super clean campground, immaculate grounds. Nice big pool overlooking the Muskegon River. Security always around which made me feel safe with my kids wondering the park. Nice tennis/basketball courts. My only complaint which I think is important, is the main office closes daily very early at 5:00. The laundry facilities and fitness center are located in the main office along with sports equipment checkout, which means you can't do anything after 5. Campground is definitely geared more toward the retired couples with fancy golf carts, you see more golf carts around the campground rather than bikes. They also have a no electric scooter policy which was a bummer to us. My kids loved the scheduled crafts and activities on Saturday but it's only on Saturday's wish there was more during the weekdays. It's the place to camp if you own your own boat, the river is beautiful but beware of rental prices of pontoons which go up to $500/day. 5 stars for cleanliness, 3 starts because of their policies/management."
