"We have stayed in this location a few times for tournaments and absolutely loved it. I thought I was ahead of the game booking for July. Our team is looking for 15-16 rooms only to be turned down by Chelsea Jensen (Director of Sales). Her reasoning was it is a busy time of year.....which is why I was calling so far ahead of time. Also, she stated that they do not give discounts. Not once did I ask for one.....I just wanted to make sure our entire team was staying together for bonding purposes. When I asked if I could contact Marriott Corotate, Ms. Jenson made sure to let me know that it was ultimately her decision whether or not we would be able to stay there. As a Marriott card holder and long time customer I am very disappointed in the way she conducted business. On top of that her communication was very poor.....it took several emails and phone calls until I got a response. This is a very popular tournament that is there every year. I really hope some one from Marriott steps up to make it right again."

"Would not recommend this property!! Stay somewhere else! Had a terrible experience with this property. Our reservation was impacted by a blizzard and the Hotel would not move our reservation to a future date. They charged us even when we contacted them in advance to move our reservation because events were canceled (kids swim meet). The manager Tessa was not helpful in providing a solution to move our reservation or provide a refund. Terrible business practice. Stay at a place where the staff and management will do the right thing when a major weather event impacts your activities. We will make sure our team never stays at the Holland Marriott again. This is bad practice for a business especially when our team travels a lot and spends a lot of nights in a hotels. Occasionally weather impacts a tournament and teams need to be able to work with a hotel to find a fair solution."

"The staff went above and beyond!! They worked hard to accommodated our swim team with earlier than normal breakfast, which was delicious! The rooms were clean and comfortable. Reservations and check in were quick and easy. We will definitely stay here again if ever in the area."

"Had a nice stay for the one night we were in town. The room was very nice and clean. The only interaction we had with service was checking in and checking out, and it was smooth and friendly. The continental breakfast was nice. Location wise, you are not far from just about anything you would need or want. The only complaints I would have was the bathroom door, while innovative and cool as a sliding hanging door with frosted glass in the center, any light in the bathroom lit up the sleeping area even when closed. Not a good thing when you are trying to sleep. And the pillows were so soft that they were almost useless because you sunk into them so much. I would recommend bringing your own pillow."

"This hotel was built within the last few years and it’s been well maintained. The lobby is nice and features a nice complimentary breakfast. The rooms are large with sitting areas, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. The pool is also very nice. We were very pleased with our stay here. Price is a bit high but it seems everything is going that way."
