"The hotel front desk workers were extremely nice and helpful and should all be given generous raises for having to deal with the occupants that abused them during our stay. While there for a nearby sports tournament we were told to stay there for the large pool, which was so chlorinated all our kids got chemical burns. Then we witnessed the front desk have to literally throw occupants out that had barricaded themselves in thier room refusing to leave or pay. Fights broke out in the parking lot numerous times. If you enjoy the smell of weed in the middle of the night, followed by vivid dreams from the contact high, this is the place for you! If you enjoy hair pulling, mother daughter slap fests, this is the place for you! It was decently clean, but extremely dated and not worth the drama, though very entertaining. Just say no to the Baymont and go elsewhere."
"Rooms are clean and comfortable. Badly need remodeling; bathtubs surface worn, toilet seats thin cheap plastic. Looks like place was built 1970s and never had a good remodel. I attached a photo of the vent in the bathroom. The light in the bathtooms flickers. Service is friendly but you do have to ask for it. Have to put trash and used towels in hallway for pickup. I foolishly booked and prepaid for a “king suite” for 2 weeks, thinking I would have a kitchenette or sitting area as was pictured in the advertisement. Instead I got a standard king room which had a hot tub addition, which I had no intention of using. There were chairs but no coffee table in this “suite.” I asked to move and was moved to a regular king room. However, I was not offered any refund. Hey, at least this room had a little table next to the easy chair so I could eat meals comfortably. I havent checked out yet so we’ll see if they do a pro rata refund, but since I prepaid I doubt it. Breakfast bar is OK. Coffee in hot pots tastes awful, very cheap brand. No juice. Waffle maker was nice. Standard fare; yogurt, fruit, cereal, milk, toast, hard boiled eggs. It’s fine for the money but DON’T book their “suite” and don’t prepay!!"
"Was myself and 2 daughters their, and at first was ok. But then got sketchy. The 3rd shift worker kept watching us when we'd go back n forth from pool. At 1 point I opened my door to go get ice. And he was standing (awkwardly) in the room across from us (a clean room) acting as if he was fixing something. When I went addressed the situation and that my daughter's felt uncomfortable, he told me on camera he seen a guy at my door (and he was telling me that the worker was outside walking back n forth in from of out door) he lied about his name and gave me false information for management.... Was a crack pipe by the hot tub that my daughter' almost stepped on.. wasn't very welcoming and pretty uncomfortable.. in the process of reporting, because I also have video of my interaction with him.. Tv didn't work for 2 days, out of the 3 we were their. Waiting for waffle machine in the morning and the workers were in their eating, got in front of me and proceeded to make their own, disregarded me waiting. Whispering and speaking Spanish.."
"Apparently the housekeeper has all of her kids here (5+), told to me by the manager at the front desk and so we have dealt with endless screaming. In the pool, up and down the hallways, vulgar language from not only the kids but the lady that keeps randomly showing up telling them to shut the F#$% up in front of my own children. What seems ironic is there are multiple postings that parties, multiple people, birthdays etc are not allowed in any form. But the housekeeper can leave her gaggle of children unattended to scream in the hot tub that says no children under 18 unsupervised. Rooms are great, front was acceptable although while checking in they blamed whoever I did my original reservation for being dyslexic because they spelled my last name wrong. Thought that was unnecessary to do."
