"If staying here, check your invoice. My invoice showed different name w/all of my info. It was quite the mix up & I was told by Best Western customer service that I would receive a complimentary credit for room due to mix up. Even had a CRticket # created for problem. I was on business trip so my room would have been paid by work. Once I was told had credit for room; I did not turn into work. Would have not been right. Got my credit card statement --- nothing was credited back. I contacted Beacon & talked to Autumn. Basically was told: Best Western cust service has no authority to give credit/ I stayed in room so no credit / my problem to try to get reimbursed by my work. The problem started at desk at hotel. Best Western customer service is reaching out to hotel again w/CR ticket info to see if will help me. Please watch your invoice so don't happen to you. It's a costly mistake for me."

"I was online looking for a nice place to stay for weekend visiting family when I saw this place I went on there room site and was excited to choose my room which was a ground floor with a patio to the courtyard and it looked like a nice view. Until my arrival date when I was surely disappointed when told I will be on second floor which I had mentioned I prefer ground floor with the court yard view. Next they changed up my room to ground floor which I thought was nice until again I drove to the room which was not attached to the hotel it was more like a motel with two levels and my courtyard view was a parking lot with a ugly bush serving as a fence blocking the railroad tracks was very disappointed. Overall the place was quiet not being in hotel part but the room was very musty smelling and very outdated, The price was high too high for this kind of stay."

"Good stay and overall experience! We stayed in the courtyard rooms and enjoyed the easy access to our car and the view of the courtyard. They were large, newly renovated, and clean. But, the interior rooms may offer their own advantages to some, such as access to the breakfast room and a more secure feeling. Although, Grand Haven in general is a fairly safe community."

"Tia, Chase and Kathy were awesome. So friendly and welcoming and attentive. It has a great set up. Plenty of parking and all the amenities. It was clean and quiet. Breakfast was great and plenty of seating."

"The hotel is located on 31, the gateway to Grand Haven. It is walking distance to many restaurants, and we actually walked to the Lake Michigan State Park, and to downtown Grand Haven. The walk Is about 2.5 miles to downtown, ( we are in our late 60’s, and it was an enjoyable walk) The hotel has two hotels an inside hotel where the main lobby, pool and exercise room are located. In the back there is a separate older hotel with a beautiful courtyard. The room we stayed in was a King Suite, which included a sofa bed, microwave, refrigerator, coffee machine and two televisions. The king bed was very comfortable! The only problem was the sink wouldn’t drain. I notified the desk several times, so hopefully the next guest will not have to wait for the sink to drain. I would like to recognize Autumn, At the service desk. She was truly exceptional and assisted me in the check in process. She was friendly, professional, polite and had a positive attitude! I love to recognize people who go that extra mile to accommodate their guests, and Autumn does! She is a role model for every customer service representative! Great job! The hotel is safe and parking is free."
