"This motel was so overpriced, the side walk was not swept, the carpet was not vacuumed, the coffee pot was broke, blinds were broken, very dingy atmosphere, The pictures on the website did not represent what the motel and grounds looked like. Very disappointed with everything…."
"The rooms were incredibly small, and the showers are barely big enough to turn around in, but the price was good, and it was quiet and cozy. It was nice that they had coffee and muffins available in the morning. Pretty cool to sit outside in the morning and have your coffee and baked goods. Also really nice that they have a firepit outback. Great way to be able to meet the other guests. We were surprised to learn that Interlochen was such a musical town. Lots of famous people have been there, from what we were told"
"Good people. Quaint little motel, no frills,, with a great view-- even the back of a grocery store boasts a great view when you're in Interlochen! Much of Michigan is gorgeous, and just about everyone in this town/area are refreshingly delightful. Our kiddos played with the owners' children. Laid back and welcoming environment/mentality. Most definitely recommend this place."
"Was very pricey for what you get. Bed was hard and there were no plugging in the room which we needed. It was clean but you will want your own soap cuz those quarter size soaps they have won’t leather in the shower. No hair dryer"
"The prices per night are incredible (especially in comparison with local competitors in Traverse city and Honor)!! The rooms are pretty small and a little outdated BUT the entire place looked and felt super clean and safe. There’s beautiful flowers outside everyone’s door, a cute campfire in the back, and coffee brewed each morning in the office. It’s snug but I have no complaints for the amazing women running the motel ❤️"
