"The owner wants to charge way to much for a rundown motel.. No cable no Internet or WiFi. I was informed when the toilets back up two years prior to when I stade their and the people need to let you know he does own a restaurant and serves great food as a cook but does not know how to run a motel."
"At check in, the air in the office was thick with cigarette smoke. The chairs in our room were so stained I was afraid to sit on them with white pants. The bedspread was the scratchy kind from the 1970's and the blanket had holes in it. The walls were stained and the bathroom rug was dirty and stained. The blinds were broken and offered little privacy. Unfortunately, the owner(s) have invested very, very little in this place for decades. We will never again stay here and would not recommend it for anyone else."
"Nice staff stayed open late to let us check in but that's it. Dirty rooms, no cable, very outdated. Worked in a pinch but barely. Wouldnt stay there again. If updated would be a nice quite place close to T.C and torch lake the rooms shouldn't be more than 20 a night"
"This place is awesome. They are very dog friendly. It is incredibly inexpensive and once you've arrived, you're family and that concept keeps me going back. Ideal location. No this ain't the Ritz, you'll need to leave your pretentiousness at the door. These are simple, clean, and charmingly outdated motel rooms."
