Marinette Inn

"The pros: friendly check-in process, great area, loved being able to drive right up to the room. Looks to be new-ish vinyl floor. A microwave and fridge are offered. but then....some things a traveler might want to know before booking here, and some things the operator might like to be aware of in terms of deferred maintenance: *middle of the night train--expect 5 minutes or so of constant horn. *in-room heater sounds like a rocket launching-if you choose to use the TV, you'll only be able to hear it when the thing is off. *mattresses are beaten-down, collapsing on the sides but still firm on the ends *bedding begins with plastic wrap, then polyester bottom sheet. you'll get another sheet and a very thin comforter, which is all you'll need because the plastic wrap makes for a hot night. *disconnected/missing smoke detectors. Ours was off the wall with no battery *aging electric receptacles (phone chargers fell right out--loose connections). Receptacles are in difficult locations *room had no table/surface to use a computer or write on something. You'll be able to store some food and cook it up, but you'll have to sit in a bed or on the toilet to eat it. *no coffee/ coffee maker (?!) *black shower curtain blocks most light making it much like a cave experience. Looks okay or trendy from the outside, but not all that functional in practice. *all drains are missing their covers. *garbage was found behind furniture while we hunted for electric receptacles *one trash can was offered (one gallon) *bathroom grout was clean/white under the sink, but black and grimy in other places, a striking difference *only one type of curtain is hanging in the window. If you want natural light, you'll be visible. If you want privacy, you get no light"

"Location is key and this spot is mins from everything!! And on top of that the price for the room, kindlyness and convenience to the job, ya cant can't beat it with a 20' pole!!!! If ya going to be working at FMM, Marinette Marine this is highly recommended!!"

"Great staff! I shot a couple of free aerials that are posted here because the desk clerk greeted me so nicely late Thanksgiving night, waiting at the door with my key in his hand and a smile on his face!"

"This was probably the worst experience I have ever had at any Inn Location. Assumed my friends who live 3/4 hours away were partying at the inn room we had not been there 30 minutes and he kicked them both out with literally no good reasoning aside from “they are partying” if partying meant literally helping them bring things to the their room. That guy sucked and he didn’t even refund his money for the stay. So he was charged 75$ for no reason at all and had to drive home at 10pm till probably 1 in the morning. If he is not refunded their will be calls. I guarantee you that."

"This was a nice experience overall. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Rooms have mini fridge/freezer, coffee makers upon request, microwave, tv, cable, and wifi. I would recommend Marinette Inn for short or long term stays for the overall pricing, convenience of having private outside doors to the rooms, and pleasantness of the staff."
