Paint River Landing is a family-owned resort located just north of Crystal Falls, Michigan. Situated along a quarter mile of the scenic Paint River, our lodging offers endless opportunities for recreation and relaxation throughout the year. Whether you enjoy world-class trout fishing, white water rafting, hiking, skiing, or wildlife viewing, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Our nine cabins, ranging from cozy stand-alone units for four guests to a spacious triplex for parties of up to 24, provide a comfortable and private retreat with stunning views of the river. Conveniently located just three miles north of Crystal Falls, Paint River Landing is the perfect destination for a peaceful getaway or an action-packed adventure.

"Quiet cabins, right on the river with gorgeous views! Private back deck with a trail leading to the waterfront, including a couple picnic tables and a fire pit. Modest kitchen but enough accommodations to cook meals for 3 people all weekend. The heat unit gets VERY warm (which is great) - we were all comfy."
"Nice cabins, though they need to spend a bit more time cleaning after guests check out.. floors were not mopped and refrigerator was dirty. Everything else was fine. The cabin we stayed in needs the old linoleum replaced with something more durable."
"Great cabins with a wonderful view of the Paint River. Each cabin has a back deck looking right at the river. Morning coffee, evening glass of wine or a cocktail. Place helps you breathe again. A few details needed to be taken care of in the cabins, but nothing major. Jake was always very helpful. Recommend renting a pontoon boat for the day just to enjoy the river, great at sunset. Wonderful week in the UP. BTW, restaurant is permanently closed, as is the store."
