"Boulder Bear Lodge is a perfect lodging location for the Boulder Junction area! I definitely wanted to take the time to write a review about a recent stay. Couple friends & I stayed at Boulder Bear for 2 nights, to bike the Vilas County trail. Owner Sam & his son went above & beyond to make us welcome & comfortable. Our room was ready early, they helped us bring in luggage & provided great information on area destinations. Property was clean, organized and well managed. Both Sam & his son are outstanding at customer service! We would highly recommend the Boulder Bear!"

He was kind and welcoming, calling us by name during our visit. The rooms, while simple, are very clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable. Overall the property is well cared for throughout. Breakfast is basic, but got us on the road ready to go. Can’t wait to come back next year!"
