"What a gem. This place is situated perfectly for a trip to the Keweenaw Peninsula...about 13 miles north of Houghton and about a 35 minute drive south of Copper Harbor. The cabins are really Tiny Houses with kitchens and bathrooms, Dish TV and WIFI. About 2 miles south is a grocery store, gas station, a number of restaurants and bars, a coffee shop, bakery, and a great "mercantile" with all sorts of gifts. The cabins are clean and warm and quiet, your hosts are kind and unobtrusive. Couldn't be better for explorers who want a cozy place for rest after a day of exploring. If you walk to the nearest trail, you might just find the apple tree."
"Jose and Marilyn were our angels in disguise. We were 9.5 hours away from home and were in need of a place to stay due to VBRO messing up our other reservations. Jose and Marilyn had no vacancy when we showed up so we left. They called us back and rented us one of the homes in the back and said they couldn’t stand knowing we didn’t have a place. They were super accommodating, really kind and compassionate. We will be back for sure. Totally recommend this place to everybody we know."
"I was in need of a place to stay for 14/17 days for work in the area. There was nothing to be found anywhere near that didn’t cost over $175 per night. I was told about this place by a local.. it was some of the best information I ever received. I stopped to check on availability and met the owners. They had no cottage available, but set me up in a whole house. They are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They checked in every other day asking if I needed anything or if there was a problem with the house. I highly recommend staying there. If back in area for work or pleasure I am definitely staying there."
"These cottages are a very nice place to stay! The wooded area, the garden with the fountains, and the quiet neighborhood makes it all extremely peaceful! The cottage itself is nice with all of the basic necessities. Check in was very simple and the owners are very nice people!"
