"Great place to take my dogs to daycare. The space is clean and well kept, and they added a few extra amenities for outside. The employees recognize my dogs during drop off, so it makes me feel better that they take the time to learn about each dog. Its also fun watching my dogs on the camera during play time. When we pull into the parking lot, my dogs go crazy, knowing they are going to have a fun day!"

"Our Buddy loves going to The Barkshire for boarding and occasional daycare. He's excited to get there and he plays so hard that he's exhausted when he gets home. It gives us great peace of mind to be able to travel and know that while we're gone, Buddy is enjoying his own vacation. The staff is very caring. We have seen them adapt to our dogs needs for mealtime, rest time, special diets and medications. Our Buddy is a miniature poodle rescue that came from a puppy mill. He's always enjoyed with other dogs but anxious around new people. The Barkshire Staff showed him patience and love and after three daycare visits Buddy no longer showed any reluctance be dropped off for a day of fun. Previously, we had an elderly dog (Lolo) that developed several health issues. The Barkshire was able to provide care, giving meds on a specific schedule and administering insulin injections. Lolo enjoyed his visits at The Barkshire until shortly before he passed away."

"The Barkshire is fantastic. We had tried a couple other places in the area, but this was the first one that showed they truly care about the pets they host and the service they provide. And that service is above and beyond. We have used both their daycare and longer term boarding services. Our dog loves it there and starts "telling us about it" a few blocks before we arrive. They have friendly, dedicated staff. And they do an excellent job trimming the nails of a dog who hates manicures. I couldn't imagine entrusting him to anyone else."
