"The customer service here is lacking what it used to be when the older associates were working here, now it’s these younger males who treat you as an inconvenience and don’t want you shopping here. It’s really sad how awkward they make my husband feel when he comes in twice a month for supplies. We drive pretty far to get to this store and if I could find the things I need somewhere else, even if it were farther I would just to avoid spending my hard earned money here. I’ve noticed them treat other customers with respect so my only guess is they aren’t to kind to any minorities shopping in their store. My husband is very kind and friendly so I don’t understand why he wouldn’t receive the same back when spending his hard earned money with uncle Luke’s. I’ve recorded our last encounter with them and I’ve posted it just to get others opinions because I truly want to know what it is. I hope you can learn to treat everyone with kindness and respect no matter what race your customers are. The world an evil place already, why not be the change we need."

"As a country girl living in the big ol’ city (Detroit), Uncle Luke’s feels and smells like the feed stores of my childhood. I go for the straw bales and seed garlic, then load up on cider, eggs, and whatever else is rattling around. “Customer service” is a little gruff but that’s the way I like it/ that’s how I remember it from every feed store in every county in the Midwest. Perfect. Don’t change a thing."
"This is a great store. The rates were reasonable, quality looks great, staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I needed some supplies for my container garden. I had a lot of questions about what container sizes to use, what plants would grow well in shade, what potting mix to use.. They answered all my question. They had a lot of variety in seeds and plants and potting mixes. Outdoors they have a nursery with sections for herbs, vegetables, flowers and peppers!"
