"My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel when we came to visit family. We loved how peaceful it is. The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had a few questions about the area and Amber was very nice, and helped us with any questions we had. We really loved this hotel, and will stay at it again when we visit!"

I have never had a bad experience here. the only thing I would recommend is that upper management took more time and respected their people more. during my stay I seen Amber work as a front desk clerk, maintenance, and cleaning person. how is one person suppose to do the job of 5 people and be able to have a successful day? she did it with a smile."

"we've been coming to this hotel for the past 4 years, in the beginning we loved it. the staff was awesome! & we've never had any problems coming here.. we've celebrated a few New Year Eves here, nice to get away & go swimming (the pools always warm) but last night when we stayed, the manager is absolutely terrible & super super rude. when we first starting coming here we had no problems or complaints besides one, the doors in the pool area definitely need to be replaced due to the cold air coming in during the winter. but yesterday she accused my mom of smoking in her room (which didn't happen cause she doesn't even smoke) then when we always come the check out is always 12pm. well today we wanted to take my 2 year old son swimming before we left cause it's his last get away as a only child, & exactly at 11am the manager came in the pool & told us to get out and pretty much get out of the hotel because the check out is at 11am (which no one had informed us at all of a check out time) but she was super rude about it & pretty much made us leave & complained when we asked for 10 mins to get dressed in the two rooms we paid for. if the same manager is there next time I don't think we will check in there again. also I know it was new years and people were having fun but the people above us let there children run and jump off the beds until 3 in the morning & when I tried calling the front desk they wouldn't answer the phone. & we didn't wanna complain about it this morning to the manager after the way she treated us:"

"The five star perfect example of a mountain lodge hotel, hidden away in the residential suburbs. The building is definitely aged but in the best way, and upkept wonderfully. Probably one of the coziest hotels I've stayed at. Great staff as well of course. If you want the rustic feeling of a well aged hotel, THIS is it."
