"Had a really nice stay here. The Host was really helpful and friendly. We had 2 pull thru sites. (buddy sites) and a great fish dinner thanks to Donna's recommendation. Bathrooms and Showers were clean and great water pressure. A bit noisy from road noise but died down at night."
"Bottom line: would I stay here again as a stopping point on longer travels? Yes, absolutely. Would I come here for a vacation? No way (unless I was going to be away from the campground all day and it was just a place to sleep). It is literally right on US-2, so it's very convenient access, however, the road noise in the daytime would not make it a pleasant place to hang out, and there's nothing really to do at the campground, no playground, just a few swings. It was quiet enough at night (not silent, but quiet enough that with the motorhome windows shut, it was restful. If you were in a tent or popup, or just wanted the windows open at night, you might want earplugs. Overall, the sites are small and close together, and also numbered strangely with no signs directing you to which sites are where. We were in the full hook-up pull-through area, and the sites alternate which direction you enter from, so as a result the patio areas of two sites are facing each other, so I imagine it could potentially cause conflict with neighbors. The placement of the power and water and sewer is such that, depending on the length of your rig, and placements of slides, trees etc., you could need some long cables/hoses. A lot of sites are unlevel as well, even our pull-through, the auto-leveling raised our front tires 2 inches off the ground (but at least they were able to level). In the electric only sites there were some seriously sloped sites, you might need extra blocks/pads. Anyway, this is not a "destination" but it's perfectly fine as a place to stop for a night."
"Stopped with our pop up camper for one night. Bathrooms were very clean, with showers. Of course, there is street noise, due to the location. We had a difficult time determining campsite boundary lines. Thankfully they weren't busy but during a busy season and pulling something bigger it would be tough to know how to pull or back in."
"Could be a great place. Could not find an easy way to get to the spot I wanted without possibly breaking the gutters off my RV or hitting the AC with branches that were at less than 10 feet off the pavement. Huge potholes in drive. All of this could have been fixed with a few buckets of gravel, a ladder, and a saw in under an hour, which means nobody is taking any initiative to fix anything. Very uneven sites. Again, why when a Bobcat for a day or two (or heaven forbid, a whole week) could totally transform this place? Nobody cares. 20A circuit connectors with 30A breakers. Really? One broken post with exposed wiring visible. We went to Wakefield and found a better park. Wake up Ironwood! You have a potentially great park here! Fix it!"
"Little oasis off highway 2. Love Curry campground! We have stayed here on four different occasions and have had nothing but a great experience. No frills campsites with nice picnic tables and fire rings. Some swing sets for the kids. Most sites have 110 electric. Best hot showers ever and super clean bathrooms! Camp hosts this year are awesome! Full of great information about the area and pasty tips! Pet friendly and reasonable rates, we hope this place stays around for a long time! Thank you! Can't wait to get back to the U.P❤️"
