"I was blown away by not only the food but warm hospitality of the owner. As I waited for my custom sandwich to be prepared we struck up a conversation, he and his employee were very accommodating and friendly. I ordered a roast beef and turkey with bacon and it was phenomenal! The bread and other ingredients were fresh and literally melted in my mouth! The pickles were a delicious addition to my sando, all in all I’d say this is a first rate East coast deli with the cozy Michigan college town feel! Wish I lived closer, it’d be my regular lunch stop."

"AWESOME small biz sandwich shop in the heart of downtown Kalamazoo. I had the turkey avocado BLT sandwich, toasted. The bread was amazing and the ingredients on the sandwich itself were super fresh, generous, but I didn’t feel crazy full when done. You can tell owner Ryan is very passionate about his business. That shined through in the quality of the product and the welcoming environment in the shop. This is a must try when in downtown Kalamazoo!"

"My sister suggested we stop in because they have gluten free bread and are very good about allergies. My older sister also makes the regular bread they use so all of us were happy with the choice. I got the turkey with bacon sandwich and there's just something you can't beat about fresh veggies on a sandwich. My sister got the tuna sandwich which she had been eager to try for some time. While some of the tuna did escape the bread, it was still excellent! My other sister got the cranberry gobbler. She also mentioned that it had apple prices in it. We are outside at one of their tables. Had an excellent time."
